LASH EXTENSION AFTERCARE
To maintain beautiful lashes and prevent premature lash loss, you should AVOID the following:
-
Oil based skin care products (makeup remover, moisturiser, cleansers etc.)
-
Gel liners, mascara and strip lashes
-
Contact with water and steam for the first 24 hours
-

-
Pulling/tugging lashes
-
Excessive eye rubbing
-
Cotton pads (due to lint)
-
DO NOT come in close contact with heat sources (e.g. ovens, fires, hair dryers, lighters, dishwashers) as there is a chance your lashes will lose their curl and possibly singe towards the tips.

To keep your lashes looking their best you SHOULD:
-
Clean your lashes every day using an eyelash extension cleanser that is specifically designed for eyelash extensions, rinse with water and pat dry or allow to air dry.
-
Ensure you are only brushing lashes whilst dry (brushing lashes while wet can pull at the lashes and cause shedding and damage to natural lashes)
-
Brush your lashes morning and night with the spoolie brush provided.
-
To maintain a full look, schedule infills every 2-3 weeks.

COSMETIC TATTOO AFTERCARE
Aftercare is crucial to ensure the best possible healing and long-lasting results for your cosmetic tattoo. Here are some general aftercare instructions to follow:
-
Keep the area clean: Gently clean the tattooed area using a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and lukewarm water. Use clean hands or a soft, lint-free cloth to carefully remove any debris or excess product. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the treated area.Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment: Use a clean cotton swab to apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare ointment provided by your technician. This helps keep the area moisturized and promotes healing. Follow the technician's instructions on how often to apply the ointment.
-
Avoid touching or picking: It's important to resist the urge to touch, scratch, or pick at the tattooed area. This can disrupt the healing process and may lead to infection or pigment loss. Let any scabs or flakes naturally slough off.
-
Avoid water exposure: For the first week after the procedure, avoid excessive water exposure, such as swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms. Minimize the amount of water that comes into contact with the tattooed area during showers. If water does touch the area, gently pat it dry afterward.
-
Protect from sun exposure: Direct sunlight and UV rays can fade and distort the tattooed pigment. Protect your cosmetic tattoo from sun exposure by applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to the treated area, even on cloudy days. If possible, wear a hat or seek shade when outdoors.
-
Avoid makeup and facial treatments: Refrain from using makeup, creams, or serums directly on the treated area until it is fully healed. Avoid facial treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments in the tattooed area, as they can affect the healing and color retention.
-
Be patient with the healing process: Everyone's healing process is different, but it typically takes about 4-6 weeks for the tattooed area to fully heal. The color may appear darker initially and then lighten as the skin heals and regenerates. Avoid judging the final results until the healing process is complete.
Remember to consult your technician for specific aftercare instructions tailored to your individual needs and the type of cosmetic tattoo you have received. Following these guidelines will help ensure the best outcome and longevity of your beautiful cosmetic tattoo.
